Optometrist Needed in Jamaica!

Mission of Sight is serving the physical and spiritual needs of the underserved and economically challenged population in Jamaica.  The Jamaican healthcare system is polarized between the free government system and prohibitively expensive private care services. Mission of Sight functions to bridge this gap by providing exceptional care in a clean state of the art building at fees which are 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of private care.

Since 2003, Dr. Doug McCloy has been a part of an effort to provide quality primary and surgical eye care to the people of Jamaica. It started with plans for a multi-purpose vision, dental, and medical center to serve a very poor and underserviced region in western Jamaica. In 2013, Dr. Doug was honored to help orchestrate the opening of the Gamertsfelder Mission and Eye Surgery Center in the city of Frome.
