Dr. Pletcher spent most of his early years in Elkhart, Indiana, where he attended Central High School. He earned a BA in Cell Biology at Goshen College then attended Indiana University School of Medicine. Internship and Internal Medicine Residency training was done at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis and St Paul, MN. He moved to Columbus after a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Dr. Pletcher and his wife Gina have two daughters and are active members of the Community Church of Columbus. Dr. Pletcher enjoys music and photography. He speaks Spanish and has participated in medical mission trips.  He serves at the Hispanic Volunteers in Medicine.

He came to Columbus in 1990 and joined Columbus Internal Medicine. In January 2003, he started Southeastern Indiana Gastroenterology, LLC which was first located at Sandcrest Buildings on 25th Street and moved to the present location in 2005.   

 He was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1987 and Gastroenterology in 1993. Special medical interests and training include Liver and Gallbladder Diseases. He treats patients with esophageal, gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases and performs screening colonoscopy.  He cares for adults and children down to the age of 15.

raymer

Dr. Raymer grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he attended North Side High School. After earning an undergraduate degree at Purdue University, he attended Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Internal Medicine training at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. He obtained his gastroenterology subspecialty training at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Raymer and his wife, Wendy, have four sons. They are active members of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Dr. Raymer enjoys cooking, writing and history.

After practicing seven years in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dr. Raymer joined Southeastern Indiana Gastroenterology in July, 2010. He was board certified in Internal Medicine in 2000 and Gastroenterology in 2003. He treats patients with esophageal, gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases and performs screening colonoscopy.

Patrick Barrett, M.D., graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and his fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Gastroenterology where he was chief GI Fellow.

Pat and his wife, Sarah reside in Columbus where he spends his leisure time raising their daughter, cooking kachumbari, studying philosophy and hunting wild game.

He treats digestive diseases including esophageal, gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases and performs screening colonoscopy.

fathauer

Lora Fathauer received her Associate of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University in 1991. She received her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Nurse Practitioner, in 1996 and a Post Master's Certificate, Family Nurse Practitioner, in 1997 both from Indiana University. In 2012, Lora completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a Clinical Informatics Certificate from Indiana University.

Lora and her husband, Brett, have four children. The Fathauers are covenant members of the Athens Church in Columbus where they serve as Connection Ministry leaders and Lora is a member of the worship ministry team.

Lora joined Southeastern Indiana Gastroenterology in January 2003. She holds two national certifications as a Nurse Practitioner and treats both adults and children with gastrointestinal diseases with a special interest in Hepatitis C treatment.

Lora enjoys spending time with family, studying the Bible, reading, listening to podcasts, singing, and sharing with others about the love, truth and freedom that she has found in knowing and living for Jesus Christ, her Savior.
